I recently made a huge error on a scratchboard project. I was using an Essdee scratchboard, and the mistake I made covered a large area. I tried to find out what ink Essdee uses so I could purchase a quantity of this ink. Armadillo Art in New Jersey sells the Essdee boards to suppliers in the USA, so I called them. They were unable to get me the information I needed. So I emailed Essdee directly and they never responded. I would think that Essdee would be glad to sell repair ink if for no other reason than to enhance their sales. But I can’t get any info on their ink. On the other hand, Ampersand gladly sells repair ink for their scratchboards. Anybody else out there who has a similar experience?
