Spyral, I like the way you lead up to the white in the center of each star.

The drawing is off on the railing, and I drew the background before the umbrellas. Live and learn.

Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting and a delicate hint of orange zest.

Art wise, I am undecided. Several projects on deck, since it is way too bloody cold to be out and about sketching.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Nice wip George, and I really like Cafe. I'm having a very frustrating afternoon working on the worst canvas I've ever had the misfortune to buy - I can't use my usual tool of choice - the knife - as the canvas just sags and bags and is generally a pain in the bum, even credit cards are proving useless aaarh. The worst thing is that as I bought it I don't even have anyone else to blame

That's a shame. Try 'painting' the back of the canvas with lots of water and then leave it or 24 hours, by then it should have dried and tightened up..unless it really is a naff canvas and then you can only weep

Laf, I am happy with the way the painting is going, but I think I need to add to it.

I know nothing about canvas bracing my but is there a way you can tighten it? I have seeno these chips that come with canvas kits.

Cool stuff Grub, your style reminds me of the movie "Robots". It's an animated film.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Nice going on the Steampunk Fish, Grub. Boa, have you ever thought of doing paintings whose compositions are based on certain math disciplines? I've got a system in my mind that I may start using....abstract, telling a story about different parts of my life.

Here is an update on the painting I've been working on.
