I found a set of Brunzeel(?) watercolor pencils and am giving them to my elderly mom. She enjoys watercolor painting, but has shown an interest in using watercolor pencils as well. Has anyone used them and how do they compare to others? I have Albrecht Durer myself, but haven’t tried these. Thanks!!

I appreciate your input. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money when she’s just experimenting, but didn’t want to give her a student grade with weak pigments. Usually I give what I know, but this was a spontaneous purchase. Thanks!!

I have a set of WC pencils and enjoy them. They require of bit of practice or technique to get good results yet they give you nice control of your blending.
