I have been reading here for several weeks and I thought it was time to actually post. I used to paint draw consistently and actually planned ad was accepted to art school. But life and motherhood and work put that on the backburner. Fast forward 10 years and my husband showed up with canvas and paints. I am also now homeschooling and only working very part time so with a very self sufficient older child I am finding time to paint a little everyday. I'm starting to get better and actually have a few WIP I might soon share.

This place is such an awesome resource and I have really gotten a lot out of my time spent here!!

That first post was typed from my phone and full of typos, I should know better!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome, and I agree taking the time to paint a little bit everyday, even if it just working on playing with the paint and color mixing and my brush work has been really valuable.

I will try to get some pictures up as soon as I find the right place to put them and figure out how to do it.
