landscape painting progress

I recently acquired a block of Arches cold press. I hadn't engaged in watercolour painting in a while and have been inspired to return to the medium. Here is a detail from a work presently in progress. It indicates areas of foliage with a couple of wildflower blooms that border the shore of a lake. I have been trying out some newly acquired tips on layering of washes and also selectively using liquid masking frisket
I hope to share the completed work in a later post
