I like the feel of gouache, but I am not well versed in the techniques, grounds paper etc.(as I usually use oils). Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Love your composition! Also, I think you did a bang-up job indicating the dappled sunlight on the tree trunk and branches, and on the roadway. I think the background trees could have benefitted from more variations in the greens, but I’m still struggling with trees myself so take my suggestion as lacking any sort of authority.
