oils on board,size 15×39 inches.
The view is from Crosby dunes looking out past the old Radar tower to the River Mersey.it shows a group of 5 Shelducks flying down river to feed.the time is early morning.

DaveJuly 5, 2018 at 3:09 am #652237The shelducks are superb! I have never tried a panoramic composition. I think this one has excellent balance from the windmill on the left to the last bird in the frame. Thank you for sharing!
July 5, 2018 at 10:00 am #652219Well done and love the wide format too! The placement of the birds is a touchy business, I know and they feel natural. My only small comment would be the position of first on the left- it has a strong tangent to both the horizon and jetty.
