Hails from United States

Commissioned piece I just finished up. PUSHMATAHA: (the "Indian General") was one of the three regional chiefs of the major divisions of the Choctaw in the 19th century. Many historians considered him the "greatest of all Choctaw chiefs". He was highly regarded among Native Americans, Europeans, and white Americans, for his skill and cunning in both war and diplomacy. In the War of 1812 Pushmataha led the Choctaw in alliance with the United States. !8X24 Derwent Drawing Pencils on Strathmore paper.

Thanks for lookin'.

Re: Pushmataha

Alfred, this turned out so beautifully! Is this done from imagination, or were there some sort of reference images of this man? I always find your work so incredible! Fantastic work!
