Bryce Canyon
Hi this is a long time since I have'nt posted here I think this one can fit in this is a gouache 15'' x 11 1/2'' I did for this weekend WDE from a photo by Jean aka Jakesgram

Really nice composition. The trees in the foreground do so much so you really feel the space.

Thanks a lot Jim, Don, Catherine, Jenna, Patty and Max I enjoyed doing this painting I know the area pretty well my best friend lives near Moab, second time i paint it in 20 years he owns the first one

This one's a beauty, Robert! I especially like the defined edges on the rocks/cliffs and both the mossy green and very pale green/light gray in the trees.

Bryce is a really tough subject and you've done it justice. I've seen some really gaudy paintings of it, but this is subdued and beautiful. I may revisit those photos I took there earlier in July.
