Hello, in this one I was trying to show a local archaeological site(it exists) in an after earth era.
The caption says: “Memories from earth, section IX” in portugueseI’d love to hear any critique or feedback you may have regarding both the composition and the execution. Feel free to be as honest and direct as possible(no hard feelings )
Ps.: If you’d like to see how the real archaeological site looks like, just google: “Ruins of São Miguel das Missões”

C and c welcomeJanuary 19, 2020 at 6:05 pm #931122Ok… heres a bit of crit for you.
First off…. I like the idea, I really do.
The way you have the spaceship about to dock with the geo-sphere and also showing other craft landing/landed…. Its quite 2001 ish…. Well done on a very nice composition.
I also appreciate the fact that you have tried to replicate a glass or perspex dome. Its one of the harder things to pull off is glass etc etc, and while you have got a semi-opaque dome, its done well enough to give the effect needed.
The “blurred” motion of the drive on the ship is a nice touch too.
The only thing I can tell you to redo is the inside of the dome. The visual perspective and size of the ruin (and the landed ships) is out when compared to the other ships that are still flying.
This is an easy fix tho as all you have to do is to “push away” in to the distance a bit the internal land/ruin. In other words……..Just shrink it down a tad and that will help a lot.All in all…. a great little scene!
Well done.
