Robert's Notes (Do NOT post here)

This thread is for my notes on Larry Seiler's Composition class. Please do not post to this thread, I'd like to keep my notes organized and contained so it's easier for everyone to access them. If you want to thank me or comment on my note taking or critique my note taking, please comment on the Discussion thread.

Turns out that a fine point Sharpie marker does show through from the other side, so I switched back to Pigma Micron pen.

Re: Robert's Notes (Do NOT post here)

Yay, tonight I made it to class! Loved the class. Larry mentioned during the presentation that people remember only about 15% of what they hear or see. Watching the streaming video again helps this. Taking notes can push that higher too, I estimate I managed to retain maybe 50% of it by writing it down very fast while he was talking.

Even with these notes though, I strongly recommend purchasing the downloads as soon as they're available. They will be extremely useful - everything he said was worth remembering.
