not enough old problems

hi!
after the day's session, detaching, i'm struck by a completely new problem.
it's the central figure, it suddenly feels like i did not create but reproduced it!

have you seen something like this on wetcanvas before? La_, are you here...?

Re: not enough old problems

15 pages of all posts by La_. no luck. thought it was the spring series, found two, wasn't there a third? it's nothing 'similar' it's that elongated shape, in profile. unusually irritating! i don't care if it's Chagall etc, but i do care if i'm right and it's someone here.

ha, talk about dedication to copyright protectionisms, good on you for caring about such stuff, but nope, not at all close enough to my style to be an infringement ...
the shape, although not the style of application, is sort of kind of similar to a couple pieces by terek, but again, not at all to the point of reproduction, imho

This piece of Fine Art certainly deserves a comment.
A positive comment.
It strikes me as elegant, timeless, and intriguing.
Well balanced, colors work, and it has mystery.
I love art that shows me something different every time I look.

this is equal to the best pieces I have seen here.

A mysterious figure cloaked...love it! I think Detaching would make a good title.

Re: not enough old problems

wait, please,
it's not finished, and above all not photographed for viewing as a work in oils.
it's just an exercise in yellow, a curiously unfamiliar entity. if it comes out interesting i'll post a proper pic on wc.

thank you for the encouragement -
