bathroom mural

Here's the one I just finished. It's in a bathroom in an upscale home. I had to lay planks across the tub to stand on to reach the top of the wall, and had to be careful not to bump my head on the protruding wall parts! At the end, painting details near the bottom, I had to crouch in the slippery tub and do some contortions to be able to paint the birds. I love my job, though, when I get results like this it's worth it.

Comments, critiques, and questions welcome, and thanks for looking!

Oh, Ruth, what can I say besides, "WOW!!!" Wish I could have you come do mine. That waterfall is gorgeous, and what a sweet little bird!

Wonderful mural Ruth. I think I'd have all my meals in the bath if I had a mural like that to look at

The birds are beautiful and I love the way the rocks show behind the falling water.

Ruth I love it!!! I think its awesome and now youve got me wanting to do another mural! Our 6 foot by 30 foot cityscape mural near here is complete so I need to take some pics to post soon.

This summer we are doing the sidewalks of a town near us in mosaics ...Really looking forward to wearing knee pads for several months LOL....but its gonna be fun too! If I'm not mistaken it should be both sides of the street and several hundred feet long and six feet wide on each side

Been a long time since Ive chatted with you!

Miss ya!

magnificent, the only word I can find, and that doesn't do that mural justice. Wow soaking in a tub with such beauty to look at, I would never get out.

Ohhh wow Ruth... what a beautiful mural! I hope their bathroom is big enough for parties as, like everyone else, I wouldn't be getting out of the bath too often! Talk about creating a serene and relaxing environment, what a great effort!

Ruth, this is just beautiful! Sort of like bringing the outdoors inside with you!

Tip for working in those tubs or on other hard surfaces, to save the knees. I use a gardener's knee pad...helps to save the hip bones from bruising too.

Working on stage sets takes one into some real contortions! I know murals can be the same!!
