New Painting "Salama"

Hi everyone, here is my new painting. This is my second human portrait and my first of someone other then myself. This painting is 11" x 14" and is acrylic on masonite as usual.

Thanks to my new friend Steve Evans for help with the ref.

Ian, really glad you tried a human portrait and kept at it. This a a stunning piece and the child is simply gorgeous. Well done my friend. (I can't wait to see what you produce when you get seasoned at this...lol)

Re: New Painting "Salama"

If anyone can capture the essence of someone, something in a painting I do believe it is you. This is beyond words. The depth in his eyes catching my attention most but every angle and detail is perfectly stunning. Now this one I would have loved to have seen a WIP on.

This is an absolutely stunning painting. ( I just love the way you have done the lips by the way). Fantastic skin tones - I am running out of superlatives.
