Making Avatars for Use on WC!

A big thank you and for Helen who has written an excellent article for Artie about how to create an avatar and post it to WetCanvas!!

Helen, your excellent graphics and text will take the mystery out of avatars for all our new members...and some of us older ones

Thanks again!!

and if anyone has questions, please post them here in this thread since Artie is away fly fishing and isn't checking his messages

You can find the article HERE!!

Re: Making Avatars for Use on WC!

Congrats on this -long needed- article...

It is very well laid out even for the complete klutz..

I am planning a project about this same topic, so we could see our members in action..and who knows, maybe some of the best could be included in WC's avatar database for everyone's benefit...

The project has been sent to be authorized, under the name : My Avatars for WC ...

You're all invited ( if it gets out safe from "customs", that is ...LOL ...)

Regards

Very helpful...thank you! I went with Irfanview and am pleased with what this program can do. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Re: Making Avatars for Use on WC!

The project was authorized right away...Thanks a ton to the staff ..!!

I'm Glad too that many members are taking the plunge and doing their own Thumbnails/Avatars...

You all are welcome to post as many as you want and have them in your own gallery, ready to be used when you feel like changing avatars for special ocassions like Valentine's Xmas etc....

Here's a link to the project's thread--> My Own Avatars for WC ..you'll find links to free software and tutorials to make Avatars in an easier and faster way...

I hope you can join and enjoy your new found ability still further....

there are too few finished works at the gallery -->

Kind Regards
