Yes, my daughter loved it! But when I made some with her, we did Patriotic pins in light of the recent tragedy. They were fun to do and I've had alot of people comment on them when I wear them.

The leaves were fun to do in that I was able to take a break from the 'traditional' painting methods, and be a little freer with color and placement. Nice little break for a bit....

I have one question, after you finish and put the medium on and it dries, is it stiff? I mean does it bend or break easily or anything?

Hi Tammy,

When making these pins, I would actually recommend using 300lb watercolor paper, as it is stiffer. With the gloss spray that I applied to mine, using the 140lb seems fine....they haven't torn yet, but next time, I will use heavier paper.
