Thanks for the article, Ruth. I had never thought of using a box like that before. I really like the lighting control it gives - plus it would isolate the set-up from the distracting clutter in a person's painting room. I'll have to try that!

Dear Ruth,
I just read your still life box article and just want to say thanks! Since moving my painting studio, I don't have a spot with a good backdrop for still life work....but I do have a workbench where I could set up a box and provide myself with a backdrop space. This will be very helpful to me!
