Just a Swan

Hi everyone!

Painted this quick swan for a video demo.
Ended up really liking how it turned out 😊🎨

I hope you like it too!
Materials are White Nights, Daniel Smith and ShinHan paints, and Saunders Waterford Rough paper, 300 gsm.

Re: Just a Swan

I like it!

It's beautiful! And perfect funny title, because there really is something else about this ...

I love the way there seems to be a little scared fish "in" the swan, looking down at the reflection of a scary ghost also "in" the swan.

Reminds me about swan urban legends: it's believed that swans have hidden places of beings and territories.

Seems as though it'd be confusing, though basically that's what the movie Black Swan was about, directed by Darren Aronofsky:
inner territories of both the vulnerable and the dangerous, both hiding within the swan.

Interesting thought, if it is a full moon, it would make the reflections even more scary/dangerous. Somewhat confusing, as I said, so I found this picture: the "interior" of a SWAN.

Really though, I think it's meant to be confusing, because the hidden places are juxtaposed.

This one's scarier ...
