I needed two cards this week. One is for a friend who is unwell and in the hospital. He's an amateur actor...so I painted him on-stage at the Globe Shakespearean Theater!
The other is heavily involved in the Civilian Auxiliary to the US Air Force, but is giving up a key position due to other obligations...
The "CAP" as they're called has a massive fleet of search and rescue a/c, like this Cessna 182 I painted for him.
Two cards - two excuses to use my new WC and produce two simple sketches.
I didn't see either as a fully involved hours long painting...in fact neither took long. There are flaws that I'm living to let go for the sake of "I need them now", but as I'm new to WC, your C&C is most welcome...
I used a small scrap of paper - not sure the brand - Arches 140#, I think, for the actor. The plane was on an 8x10 sheet of Canson #140. The paints were D Smith.
