This looks like it'd be really popular among the ladies! Makes me feel like I need to start doing some serious working out personally, geez. . . nothing like looking at great physique to make one self conscious. Looks like it was fun to paint though, lots of variation in the skin tones and strokes and all.

I'd hardly call that a sketch! Looks great, rough and ready like the fella

I like the palette here and the bold approach. Is this digital?
His right forearm looks a bit long.
The colours suggest a period piece. This is at odds with the figure. The old time miners, hard as nails, didnít have time to develop gym monster physiques! Once again, looks like a gay icon (and nothing wrong with that.)

I particularly like head and torso study in this, and making the figure a part of a scene that makes us wonder what is going on... the 'rough sketch' element gives it a liveliness

Mac - Thanks! This was my "working Sketch, which I had planned to refine. I got such great feed-back to "leave it as is. So, I did.
I recalled one of my profs saying sometimes it takes 2 artists to paint a picture - 1 to do the work, and Another to say when to Stop.
