Well, I had a successful cataract surgery Monday. My daughter is an RN in an Eye Institute in the Black Hills so I went out there. A four hour trip but well worth it. Surgery itself only took about 15 minutes. I was in and out in 2 hours.
Drove home the next day. Everything looks a lot brighter today!
Here are a couple of photos from a trip to the Beringer vineyard in Napa Valley California.

Rich, on the cataract surgery. I'm happy for you.
I enjoyed your photos of the vineyard casks - those carved lids are neat.
Still walking around hunched over like an old man - but I guess that's what I am.
Caught these two "in the act" yesterday (maybe I need to put a butt icon on this post?)...
Lorell, if you visit here today, tell us - was the Aurora Borealis visible to you yesterday? (I vaguely remember seeing this eerie yet beautiful phenomenom once or twice was I was a child.)
I'm concerned about those in the path of Hurricane Florence -stay safe.

Dave, sorry to hear you are still having back troubles. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Keep moving!
Your photo is not offensive to me. I see a lot worse on the live African Safari game drive I watch most mornings. Just nature.

Rich, you have eye surgery and then go get yourself blind drunk, makes no sense!
Dave, as the French would say, you caught the butt-erflies in flagrante.
I'll get my coat.

Oh you Boys.
Rich, good for you. Think how easier it will be when your look through your viewfinder! Thanks for starting the daily. Fun shots of the keg covers, you know that you could have used the one shot it the "repetition" challenge.
Dave, no butt icon needed. Funny. Good capture though. Can only see the aurora borealis from certain locations north of here., we are not near enough to those locations.
Mark, thanks for the laugh.

Mark....
Thanks Lorell, didn't think about the challenge when I was looking for a photo. Will have to look around my files some more!
Peter, it looks big enough to stop traffic for sure, that photo could have been taken in South Dakota! We have some huge ones here too!
