Beautiful and packed with power! I love the sense of movement, especially in the tilt of the head. Excellent drawing!

Beautiful drawing, he s a magnificent elephant, what a great capture, showing him moving like that. So often the elephant is just standing straight looking forward. Love it!

Fabulous drawing. Would love to know how long those wrinkles took you to finish. They are perfect.

Great work Gordon, the tonal difference, contrast, and all the handling of the graphite is really good... Excellent drawing
What paper you used?

Re: the long walk re-post from D & S

Chammi;- thank you the wrinkles did take a while to do and I am doing another drawing now of a baby elephant and there seems to be even more wrinkles.
Federico;- thank you, I used smooth cartridge paper, but now wish I had used watercolour paper as I am getting better results with that.
Cat;- thank you
Karebear;- thank you, yes they did hours and hours

This is superb work. Great sense of movement and scale and I love the sideways look as he walks. Love all those little details too.
