Lighthouse - now high tide. More spray needed?

Client (my cousin) asked for a few more waves breaking...essentially a higher tide.

Do I need more spray? How are my colors?

I would say yes. I usually use a 'dry brush' and drag it wind blown.

Went too far. Ruined much of it. Gesso'd it back to white.

Just the bottom...and just the area of the two breaking waves. Every time I tried to do spray I found myself with simply a higher blob of white. I am over working it and filling in too much. I think I need to touch the brush to canvas once and not fiddle...

I some times put a dab of neat white gouache on my finger tip, wipe most off then dab it on top and above the wave crest. Worth trying.

Your painting is gorgeous! No, it is fine as it is!

Re-worked. I think this is about as good as my skill-set allows.

Nice rework, how about maybe adding some water drip lines coming down from some of the bottom rocks? I think that may be the only thing missing.
