Tire-some?
Medieval Treads?
Firestone Baroque?

I don't think they would hold much air Sno.

I'm clueless as to the tubeless.

Re: Classify this art?

I like your classifications Derek. And of course one would have to put tubes in them.

Re: Classify this art?

I've never heard of this artist before; he must've been keeping a low profile.

I do like them though.

Re: Classify this art?

I like the tires. My wife did not.

He also does tattoo work on live and dead animals, as well as making slippers out of whole dead rabbits.

Re: Classify this art?

Come on Kay, I didn't see a low profile tire/tyre in the bunch!

Kosmon, you may be wight about the photo-wheelism.

I actually think the work is beautiful but who would want a stinkin' rubber tire in the house. Maybe the front porch? Looks like he has used new tires (seeing the mold marks on the tread) why not recycle old ones.

Nice tread you started here, Margaret.

Sorry, I was thinking. I hope he's allowed for inflation in his pricing.

Re: Classify this art?

I guess with inflation, it can't go flat. Of course they HAVE been slashed.

Re: Classify this art?

I think it's just called tire carving. It looks cool but I bet the process probably smells horrible. Usually the purpose is to recreate new traction for tractors and stuff but that dude probably decide to try it for an aesthetic purpose.
