Huge Purple Flowers

We have huge Purple Flowers blooming in our area. The size of the flower is about 8 inches in Diameter. They are huge. Besides purple, I have seen the flower in White and a deep Red. Well, I didn't see any other color so decided to create one myself.

Here is the original:

And here is a new color that I created for this lovely flower. Topaz was used.

I've been trying to come up with something wise and insightful to say about your manip, but I can't do any better than WOW!

It has a magical, mystical feel to it - I keep expecting to see an elf popping up or Tinkerbell hovering nearby.

Re: Huge Purple Flowers

Thanks Dave, but Topaz did it all. The thing I liked about it was if you hadn't seen the original, you might think that the manipped one was pretty close to the original as far as believable. Well, that's what I thought.

But I really appreciate your response.

Re: Huge Purple Flowers

I never saw this color myself, anyway general form and flower details are those of a kind of hibiscus. Look for "Hibiscus syriacus" to find similar flowers.
I don't know if we can find this orange color in reality: they are often rather light rose, sometimes more yellowish, and very often vivid red.
