Looks very good!
Its a bit dark (oils nature, but I'm quite certain the picture has something to do with it) yet if you would like to improve it you should exaggerate the light specially where you want the main attention of the subject. You can do this adding some more layers of white fur, glaze shadows slightly and repeat. Layering fur in the direction of growth and with more random than ordered strokes is the key to give realistic feel. Adding some highlights in the eye, and maybe a slight one in the nose edge would help. Also the viewers left side of the tiger is too contoured (Like flat round), it should have some more dark spikes coming in and a bit more single hairs coming out that the tiger gives the appearance of a fluffy animal. That should be done wherever there is dark background.

thank you all for your comments and observations, unfortunately this has been framed and sold and made over £200 for the charity so I am pleased with that
