Loved watching this one progress, Tom, and enjoyed the painting with its great atmosphere and weight. I particularly like the silted river. I think the palm trees' trunks could do with a few horizonatal lines/hoops to finish them, because they look a bit flat at the mo', but everything else looks fine to me. Very nice.

Well done! Fine composition and rendering.
I'm wondering about the value and chroma levels, or differences in, between the sky and the reflections of the sky on the river? Sky seems a very little less, maybe? Maybe it's the photo resolution.

This is a good painting. However, I do see what Boogiechile is talking about. Skies are generally darker at the top and get lighter as they come down. Not always. Also the water is usually slightly darker than the sky. Hope this helps.
