Quick-Dry-Cafe. March

Good morning one and all ....plenty of iced drinks available, they're lined up outside keeping cool in the deep snow!

Looking to those in Southern climes to bring some warmth and sunshine to cheer the day.

March is blowing in like a young lion testing his roar ..... storm Emma is cavorting with the Beast from the East and we're the playground.
I'm actually going to try to start my Diff. Strokes today ... that'll be a first, doing it first of the month instead of 21st!

Tatty-bye for now

What is this about UK kids not allowed to touch snow in their recess?

Re: Quick-Dry-Cafe. March

And out here the snow has been slowly melting. Still lots left and most likely we will get more before spring comes.

Um, yeah, is it so hard to say no snowball throwing? lol

So, a little later on Tuesday, hubby said lets get the furniture out of this room and finish removing the carpet and go to Dauphin (nearest city 45 miles away) and look for some vinyl. We moved everything out except my huge corner desk. Hubby thinks I have too much stuff in my craft room, I think I need a bigger room. But anyway, we got the new flooring in that day and he helped me get the bigger stuff back in, and then yesterday I spent most of the day putting stuff back. Most of it went back where it was but now I'm working on reorganizing my craft table.

Son loves the new floor, he hugs it lol. It looks like stone tiles. Still will have to empty the closet and remove the carpet from there one of these days.

Re: Quick-Dry-Cafe. March

Well done Michelle - and quick too when two of you work together!

C - it's true - a Headmaster banned his pupils from touching snow - he obviously was 'watching his back' as they say, in case he got sued for any hurt or damage to kids or property!!!
Of course, a lot of schools are closed (they are here) and the kids are naturally employing themselves well - sledging, snowballing and generally getting exercise and fresh air!
It's a foot deep in my garden - that's a lot for us!

Judging from the morning mail, somebody sure did. Hello, Elsa Hosk. You forgot to finish dressing this morning, dear. As usual

There is a nasty rumor going around that we will be in the 40’s F over the weekend. No snow or nor’eater In the offing. Will enjoy the cooler weather while it lasts.

Re: Quick-Dry-Cafe. March

It was Victoria magazine that was mentioned. You guys wouldn't like it, it makes us women want to redecorate the house. I bought my first issue in Feb. 1993 and bought every issue for 7 years. Then I cut back to just getting the Dec. issues and maybe a few in between. It's not as good as it used to be.

I thought I would get my craft table all organized yesterday. Then I started trying to make an organizer for pens and small tools and spent all afternoon on it and didn't finish and will probably scrap it and start over.

I know this feeling well!
It's called procrastination in my house!

I suspect it wouldn't be as expensive as redecorating Susie's gonna be.

Re: Quick-Dry-Cafe. March

I haven't bought Victoria Magazine for ages but I have a bunch of old issues, they are sort of timeless...or another time, or a version of that time.

Wish Books and Glossy Magazines are wonderful to look and and inspire.

Then you do your version of something that strikes a cord with you.
Then it's even better because you made it yours!
