Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Life drawing after a year's absence...

I'm sharing here the drawings from my 2nd life session for this year....I think I failed miserably in the 1st...but that's to be expected after such a long absence from life drawing...thanks to the guidance and advice received from all of you here (esp Bill (ArtistOz!) as well as from one amazing figure artist (hopefully he'll share his amazing works here someday), I tried again and hopefully, I have improved a little....

I like them Constance you seem to be understanding the structure. I like the overlapping contour lines too. Does your amazing figure artist have an online presence I always like seeing good figure drawings?

No 3 is superb Constance, you can almost feel those curves, and as for the neck and the hair, its just sumtuous. i dont like number 2 but thats more the pose...

You have an articulate line which conveys mass and volume well. I wouldn’t have guessed you’d been absent from life drawing for a long time.

Some solid contours here.. Improvement - I cannot attest - but it comes with lots of work and focus on the weak areas.. (where our fears lie most often)..

Re: Life drawing after a year's absence...

Thank you so much Bill, David, Harry, Earl and Kevin...

Kevin, I agree with you that one should continuously work on to improve further...for me, it's not just the figure, but also in every aspect of art (colours, compositions, etc)...Thank you so much for the reminder.

David, I'm not quite sure myself if i like the pose in the 2nd pix!

Harry, thank you for your kind words

Earl, thank you so much!

Bill, I'm really happy to share the link to the works of this amazing figure artist (Stephan Mueller)..Really inspired by his lines, esp from his latest works.

Hi David, thanks but I'm really inspired by his lines - esp from his recent works, to me they are amazing

Thanks Bethany for the encouraging words! I'm not sure how often can I attend a life drawing session this year but I'll try to attend a few more times, as long as my schedule and my wallet permits....

Good drawings Constance, I particularly like the feet in the last one. I hope you can get to many more sessions.
