Red Sails and the City Waterfront,WIP.

Oils on board size 11 x 24 inches.
Once a year the owners of these ex Morecambe Bay Prawner's known as Nobby.s,have a race on the River Mersey.
My painting shows some of them, please excuse the poor quality of my photo.
Dave

Very nice. The red does stick out meaning draws my attention.
Of course that's the meaning

Wonderful piece Dave! The city in the background is fantastic and the boats are really set off to draw the eye with the color of their sails. The variation in the waves and the color of the water is excellent as well.
