Paper Question

Hello, I have been searching for Mi-Teintes white pastel paper pad in A3 size...I am having a lot of trouble finding it. I can find it in other colors, and I have it in the A4 size. Does anyone have suggestions to where I might find it in the US? I would be open to another brand that is similar in the A3 size pad.

Re: Paper Question

I don't have an answer for you, but I have a question for you. Will you be using pastels on the white Canson paper?

Re: Paper Question

The closest to that size I could find is a 12x18 pad of gray paper in a different brand. I know you'd like white but I'll send the link just in case. The paper is acid-free and meant for charcoal and pastels but I've never used it so I don't know how it compares to Mi-Teintes.

Re: Paper Question

Thanks so much for the information. I really need white, itís for a class Iím taking. I think Iíll have to end up ordering from somewhere outside the US (Jacksonís Art Supply). I just think it is strange I canít seem to find what I need in the states.

Re: Paper Question

Re: Paper Question

What does your supply list say exactly? In the US we won't typically say A3 or A4...that's more of a UK thing. Standard US sizes would be 9x12, 11x14, 12x16 etc.

There is a 9x12 white spiral pad of Mi Tientes, otherwise go with Strathmore as mentioned above.

Generally in pastels a white surface isn't widely used which is likely why you can't find it easily. Good luck!
