My friend wants me to paint a wall covered with vinyl which is outdoor. What materials should I use?

Re: painting on vinyl outdoor

You can get vinyl safe paint. You could use an acrylic but it needs to be a good quality one or it'll peel. Be sure to read up on painting vinyl as you may need to do some prep work and such.

What kind of vinyl covering is?

XIM UMA is a bonder / sealer / primer that would allow you use pretty much any type of paint once the vinyl was coated with it. I have only used it to prime polyester coil coated ACM Panels.
