Re: Poppy Bubbles
Congrats, although I'm not surprised because it is lovely. It looks like I'm looking underwater into a coral reef, and the line work adds to it too....really nice.

Re: Poppy Bubbles
Beautiful Kay! Congrats on the sale. The composition and the added smaller stems in the background give it a lot of depth.

Re: Poppy Bubbles
This is indeed lovely. The ink line work is a beautiful mark to add into your alcohol ink paintings! I'm thinking you should continue with this combination, and perhaps add coloured markers and different line weights. Well done!
And sorry that I am suggesting buying more art supplies, as I know all of us probably have too much already!

Re: Poppy Bubbles
Thanks Anthony and Rick!
I'm always open to buying more supplies, and yes, did outgrow the house to a studio that's bulging at the seams now, too.

I can't think to say more about this beautiful piece than what's already been said.

Re: Poppy Bubbles
composition works for me, and what can go wrong with those beautiful colors. The only nit-pick I'd have would be that the upper right corner is so light that it dampens my perspective, I would tone that down a bit.
But - hey - it's sold, and it looks way cool, so congrats.

Thanks Jim and Daniel! Yep, it is sold, but another one could morph any time.
