Black paint for Bathroom Windows

What type of paint would I use to darken surface of bathroom windows?

Would I need primer first?

Are these art supplies I can get at Jerrys Artsarama, or a store like Home Depot?

This isn't for art, it's just to make the windows black

Thank you

Re: Black paint for Bathroom Windows

Household windows aren't made for painting and it will most likely peel or scratch off. Considering a window can cost hundreds, and paint can ruin them, I wouldn't do it all. (if you rent really don't do it, or your landlord might flip out)

You can get window film, which is made for privacy issues from any hardware store (including Home Depot) or Amazon or whatever. It's cheaper too than paint. Should cost less that $20 a window.

There's a lot of cool designs too, so black isn't the only option. I've used them quite a bit as every time we moved with the military the windows would be different sizes in each house and it's a great cheap and nice looking way to get privacy where you need it.

Hope that helps.
