The way to chose

All kind of pastels on PastelMat (30x40 cm)

The reference is a photo I took during our last summer holidays in the Alps. I was hiking with my eldest son. And later looking at the photos it seemed to me that this one fitted very well to him. He is now sixteen and has to chose his way. Time is flying by so fast and soon he will be grown up and gone.

C&C always welcome

Esther

Isn't art amazing? You've put your experience and memories on paper to preserve your story.

Hi Esther. My eldest son is 15 so I completely appreciate the wonderful sentiment behind this lovely painting. Such an exciting time in their lives!

Re: The way to chose

Excellent work! I love the detail that you have managed to capture both in the foreground and the distance.
Your son is walking his own path soon, with you watching over him. A beautiful painting to go along with a beautiful story. Thank you so much for sharing.
