Wow Christel, great colours. Did you even use a green ballpoint pen or was it the blue pen mixing with the yellow of the card?

Thanks Robert, Chammi and Darkflights! I used light green, dark green, dark blue and black for the green parts. The smaller colored parts have light blue and brown too.

Christel, wow! You caught the metallic iridescence of the beetle's body perfectly. I love that color. Takes it into another realm entirely. I have a bit of a bug phobia but that color helps overcome it completely. Looks so true and so beautiful, you really did something wonderful here!
