paths

After looking at an old thread by Graeme, (see his thread, In the Hands of Others)I googled how to make a path ......and played around a bit in photoshop....was a bit of playing, redoing...was hard to follow one guy, so I went to another tutorial...worked much better. LOL!

Thanksm Graeme, for the inspiration to play a bit on a bitter cold winter day.

Nice compliment from "the pro".
And I agree 100%. You did good and being challenging and figuring it out certainly gets the brain cells dancing. Your granddaughter's teammates are going to be envious.

Re: paths

Now that is pretty nifty! There is so much about PS that I don't know. I can post process my nature images to get the best results, but something like this I am clueless.

Re: paths

That is pretty cool Natalie! Yes it is a shame we don't use this thread often. It used to be very active in here. I have an idea for one of my photos and will see if I can get something going.

That's a mind-bending image, Nat' , you inspire me to venture into the bizarre world of digital manipulation, perhaps with our winter closing fast!

Was the base image hockey player shot with your FinePixS2Pro?

Re: paths

So.....Mark, you ventured out of your comfort zone into the digital manip forum!! Thanks!! The hockey shot was of my grand baby! shot with my Nikon D7200 18.0-200.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens....I cut her out, put her on a dark background layer, then did the manip.

I don't use the Fuji much as it's not as many megapixels, BUT I always think the colors are so much better on the Fuji! It really was my second digital camera, the Olympus C7000 point and shoot was my first. It was only a 7 megapixel, but I always felt it took great photos! I went from the Fugi to the Nikon because I could use the same lenses ......changing to a Canon would mean ALL new lenses!!!
