Seek advice on workshops (in the Wesson style)

Happy new year to all. Hope we all prosper this year !

Has anyone taken a workshop with painters who paint in what I will term the Wesson style (Steve Hall, Jem Bowden, John Tookey, etc..). This is a broad style I know, but this approach to painting really appeals to me.

Any workshop experiences and advice anyone can share will be greatly appreciated. I'm at the start of the watercolor journey, so I'm not yet prepared for the top instructors. I need to build up my "skills toolbox", and then take some local classes/workshops first.

Cheers,
Joe

Joe, you may need to do a Google search! Good luck with your journey and welcome to the Watercolour Forum.

Re: Seek advice on workshops (in the Wesson style)

Thanks Char. I was able to find excellent workshop reviews on some artists with different styles (Reid, Castagnet, and Zbukvic).

I'm envious of UK artists who seem to have more ready access to workshops from world-class watercolor artists. Jem Bowden's work is amazing to me, a new star on the scene.

Cheers,
Joe
