Thanks Rich and Terri. This was done on Rolfes sketch paper. Rather thin. Other times I use Canson drawing paper, gouache paper from Canson and even Mi-Teintes.

Thanks for the info! I have learned than thinner paper is very challenging for me to control, so that makes this piece even more impressive. Wow!

I have some Mi-Teintes in pastel colors, but haven't tried any yet. It always seems to be highly recommended for OP.

Terri - MiTeintes is fantastic for the ruggedness for op's. I also like using it with acrylics. It does have a texture though which is easily covered too.

Thanks for the info, Christel. Yes, in looking at the texture of Mi Teintes, it doesn't look near as bad as the Strathmore 400 pastel paper I've struggled with. I'm excited to give the MT a try.
