This was taken at the humane society. They come to the fence expecting some food. When they don't get it, they go away. So you have to act soon.

Beautiful image, Lorell.

Fine composition, as usual.

I love the high-key palette.

The "softer" parts heighten the pleasing quality of the pastel colors.

And the sharpest parts are a great contrast, emphasizing the right parts of the image.

Finally, the subtly more intense yellow-orange color of the eyes identify them as the COI and focus our eyes there.

Leslie, You will see Close Cropping in my photos a lot. It is something that I am attracted to. There is a saying that goes something like, "if your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough". Even though I zoom in a lot when I take a photo, I usually zoom in even more when post processing.
