I like these very much - a loose and fresh, quick sketching style - nice!

Wow! I love these. Loose but very evocative and accurate, the perspective is a joy. So are the figures and pigeons! The number of little pigeons in that first one is striking, every one of them a good little silhouette. Love the sense of light too and the depth and solidity of the buildings, that feel of distance that good perspective brings. Few can manage crowds that well!

well done...I feel that a good benefit of proclivity to draw places we visit is that we tend to observe them more carefully and enjoy them more in the process as is evident here...observing things and surroundings carefully and being in the moment reveals much more and gives us more enjoyment compared to viewing them just through camera lens...being able to capture that feeling and moment we experience on paper is truly rewarding

I think Mike will be adding these to his personal collection on the hard drive! These are very nicely done, especially the difficult perspective in the first one. What did you use, pigma micron? I have a feeling the second one would have looked even better with a crow quill. I especially like the delicate lines and reflections of the boats. Also size? Are these in your sketch book?

Love this style of drawing. Like the second one best but they are all great.

Great work. Loose and free-flowing line is not my own approach, but it's something I can appreciate from afar.

Yes, a Micron pen & in a Canson 6x8" spiral bound sketch book. Thank you for the very nice compliment.

I've never tried pen and ink plein air. I like these very much and at my advanced age maybe pen and ink is more portable and less stressful for me. I think I'll give it a try this spring and summer. Thanks for this.
