Help with Higgins Eternal Black Ink

I am going to be using Higgins Eternal Black Ink. Will this ink work with feather quill dip pens and metal feather quill dip pens? And what paper weight would you recommend I use with this ink? Thank you.

Yes I have discovered the ink does not contain shellac and is not waterproof. 24 lb paper is recommended with the ink. But I am going to be using 32 lb. laserjet paper. A very smooth paper. It is recommended that you use smooth and not rough paper to prevent ink slpaters. I think the paper will be good for practice. But I plan on using thicker paper for finer quality work. Hope this answers the questions we all have.
