“ Turquoise ~ and ~ Orange...” xpost oils

I found this pitcher in a antique shop! I loved its color and shape.. so wanted to put it into a painting and hoped it would work in a beautiful masterworks frame I had!its 14x18 oil on linen panel !

Fantastic find. You were right he painting and the frame complement eachother very well. I agree with others about teh oranges and the pitcher going very well together.

For me the detail that really brings it home is the play between the highlight at the top of the orange and the one on the gold rim of the pitcher. My eye keeps bouncing back and forth between them over that lovely turquoise.

I am humbled Dave ... I’m not so good at giving great descriptions on the art I love ... thanks so much .
