Young Aspen Grove

I recently did an 18 x 24 painting in which I did not care for the foreground - so being a person who
DOES NOT LIKE TO WASTE PAINTING SUPPLIES!!! I cut off 6 inches from the bottom of the painting and used that small piece to create another painting!

6 x 24 "hallway piece"

This was done very quickly with large brush and palette knife.

Re: Young Aspen Grove

Richard - An interesting subject perfectly captured on the long format & I love those contrasting tree trunks & gradient light effect which adds mood & suggests light direction - Nicely Done !
