thanks! I consciously use a photographic tonality in areas to play with our expectations of reality, but the structure of the painting (and the rendering when seen in person) is fundamentally anti-photographic.

At first glance, it looked like a photo of large terrarium room behind glass doors; amazing work.

I suppose there is a bit of a greenhouse aura about it, though it wasn't necessarily the goal. More, I wanted to create a fairly ambiguous space.
