Thistle and Dot

A small oil of two sisters, working in harness.
I wish it had photographed better though. C&C welcome.

Re: Thistle and Dot

Nice work! Loose and impressionistic. Dot and Thistle are very well done!

This is lovely. Full of the countryside and character. Excellent background. I particularly like the path. Very well done!

Re: Thistle and Dot

I really like the style of this piece, great expressive brushwork and the colours harmonise really well. The horses are wonderful and I love the big tree on the left.

Re: Thistle and Dot

There's something so appealing about your style in this piece. It feels peaceful and sunny. It had a timeless quality, which suits the subject so well. You've done a great job!

Re: Thistle and Dot

Oooh drafts! Thistle and Dot are beautiful, gloriously painted. I love the way one of them is looking away, losing attention on the shared task. You captured how big they are, how majestic and how easily distracted!
