Tank Top

I've started a tank top for a friend for Christmas. She wanted a v-neck. This is a Sirdar pattern in "Misty" double knit by James C. Brett.

I will have to get a move on to finish in time!

Re: Tank Top

That looks nice but a lot of work.

I have most of my xmas knitting done. It just needs blocking.
Except for my daughter's boy friend. I want to make him those 11th century Egyptian stockings but I could not find good cotton so I ordered it online. From China. It won't get here until mid November. So he will probably get a picture of them instead.

Re: Tank Top

Thanks, Lena. I probably won't get it finished in time. I haven't knitted for a while and my arthritis is playing up, so I will take my time.

The Egyptian stocking sound interesting. I would like to see them when made. 😎

Re: Tank Top

This is a recreation of the originals

But I will probably do a variation on them.

Re: Tank Top

This is coming along nicely. Really like the natural color variation in the pattern.

Re: Tank Top

Thanks, Debby. I知 doing a little each day. I do prefer a pattern to the stitch, as I find stocking stitch fairly boring after a while. Never mind, plodding on!

Re: Tank Top

That's why you put on a movie to watch or listen to an audio book while working. Looking good. Cheering you on.

Re: Tank Top

Yes, Debby. I do most of my knitting that way. I have a membership for audio books, and I listen to a lot of radio. I'm not a "modern film person", though I do like the old films. Thanks for the cheers. 😆
