Johanneck - OD (x-post from watercolor)

Ein Motiv aus dem bayerischen Hopfen-Anbaugebiet. Ein sehr heißer und
windiger Tag. Eigentlich wollte ich schon nach Hause fahren, da steht
plötzlich hinter einer Bergkuppe dieses Motiv. Nein, so etwas in diesem
Licht, darf man nicht ungemalt lassen. Die "Zebrastreifen" im Himmel sind
wetterbedingt und nicht von mir so gewollt. Gegen Wind und Hitze bin ich

A motif from the Bavarian hop-growing region. A very hot and windy day.
Actually, I wanted to go home, there is suddenly behind a mountain top this
motive. No, one should not leave this unpainted in this light. The "zebra
stripes" in the sky are weather-related and not wanted by me. I'm power-
less against the wind and heat.

Format / Size: 35 x 50 cm
Papier / Paper: Canson fine face 250 gr
Farben / Colors: gemischte Marken / mixed brands
ID = Indoor / OD = Outdoor, plein air

What a beautiful view Ernst. As you say it must be painted.

Yes, doing a larger wash in wind and heat is a challenge! Still, this looks fine any way. I like this and am taken by the two blue houses hidden in the center of all that warmth. Nice !
