Try Scott Robinson's How To Draw - it's about drawing things in perspective:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaZmwHU7vZo
He has youtube videos about drawing circles in perspective.
This fellow has tips on drawing the ellipse using a motorcycles his example:

Good luck!

Re: please help about drawing wheel

A quick way to get your ellipses if you haven't any technical drawing instruments available. Take measurements from the center of the wheel. Hope this helps.

Starts by not seeing an ellipse there, and seeing that there is a series of cilinders in perspective.

I would suggest you google an youtuber called modernjames on his drawing in perspective series: https://www.google.com.br/url?sa=t&r...8yzKiiI0BDvpUc

He spend a good time on that type of topic.

Re: please help about drawing wheel

Two rough sketches to show the idea of thinking of the wheels as cylinders.

In the first one (left) the wheel is tilted towards us. We are looking DOWN on it and slightly from the FRONT.

In the second the wheel is tilted away from us. We are looking from BELOW (notice the bike is balanced on the far rim of this wheel) and slightly from BEHIND.

Re: please help about drawing wheel

To fix in a box, you need to place the wheel inside a box, measure the best you can the height, wide, make a box using these measures and draw the wheel inside. Once you have it right, delete the box.

Great video... for the drawing part, one has to get to 1:27 sec. He even references Scott Robinson! I checked out his book thru interlibrary loans, and honestly, I think one can gain from him just through his youtube videos. I think the motorcycle posted here is tricky due to the front of the bike being turned. Definitely need to break things down a bit re perspective, and it's so interesting how often it comes up. Every poster has great tips on this! Cheers!
