Shutterbug Pub Daily, Friday, October 6, 2017

For those of you still working - TGIF! (For those of us who are retired, every day is Friday.)

While walking from the library to the grocers yesterday, I paused at one home that has the most interesting plants and flowers in the front yard. The direction of the light wasn't ideal, but I did try a few shots. Here's one...



And the full or nearly full moon caught my eye this morning. It was well after dawn; the sky was actually rather light. But I had to shot at maximum zoom and needed the fastest shutter speed to minimize shake and preserve sharpness. This made the shots look like they were taken in the dark of night, which I don't think is a bad thing...
